AIG is seeking an Asst Tax Manager in the Execution of robust tax reporting processes related to investments
Coordination with tax department personnel involved in the quarterly and annual tax provision process
This role is based in Nashville, TN At least 4 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, reporting or operations. Ideally, the candidate would have experience in an investments tax operations group or group supporting the tax reporting of financial instruments. This position offers a foundation to build a deep technical knowledge of the areas of taxation including investment company taxable income, taxation of financial instruments, tax financial statement disclosure, and tax reporting.
To qualify, candidates must have:
a minimum of 5 years of experience within a professional advisory firm or corporate tax department
exposure to the federal taxation of financial instruments a plus
excellent accounting skills
excellent oral and written communication skills
ability to work independently and achieve results
