This position performs tasks related to mail, data entry, and requests from the technical staff and outside vendors. This position is also a backup for the receptionist. Additional duties may include processing, other like duties as assigned.
1. Monitor the Claim Service Request System and input the following:
1. Reserve Change Requests
2. Closings
3. Name Change
4. Add Coverage
5. Add Claimant
6. Complete BI Index
2. Input and distribute checks.
3. Monitor and distribute faxes as appropriate.
4. Open, date stamp, scan and research incoming mail.
5. Process underwriting requests.
1. A high school diploma or general equivalency degree G.E.D.
2. Basic reading, writing and mathematic skills.
3. Computer literate with the ability to learn software applications.
4. Professional verbal and written communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
