Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) is seeking to hire a Project Manager for a small to medium size infrastructure and applications projects involving multiple business customers within the Ascension Health organization. This position will serve multiple customers from across Ascension Health.
### QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a minimum of 3 years experience managing IT projects
Candidate must possess analytical and decision making skills and must communicate effectively and have relevant experience
Must possess excellent problem solving skills
Must be willing to travel up to 20%-50%
Strong verbal and written communications skills required
Bachelor degree or equivalent required
PMP/PMI certification preferred
Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Nashville, TN.
### RESPONSIBILITIES
This Project Manager will:
Manage moderate sized projects, typically lasting a year or less.
Coordinate and lead the analysis of vendor proposals and track project progress.
Formulate the project plan and establish project critical path.
Manage project team, resolving project issues regarding budgets, timelines and resources.
Participate in the development of a project budget, regarding costs of specific project components and requests.
Clarify, help identify and document project risks.
Participate in the development of RFP/RFI process.
Provide project assignments to the project team, manage project scope and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Maintain ongoing communication with customer(s) during the course of the project, ensuring that they are up to date on progress.
Develop and coordinate transition of deliverables from project phases to productive use.
