## Description
Under the direction of the VUIT Senior Practice Manager, the Practice Manager oversees a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants and Associates in Management in activities related to small to medium software development projects, system enhancements, and application support. The Practice Manager may also work under the direction of the Senior Practice Manager in large-scale development projects.
Key Functions and Expected Performances:
1. Provide effective leadership and project management for the functional and technical resources during small-scale development projects
1. Provide leadership to Associates in Management, internal Consultants, Sr. Consultants and customers to meet project deadlines and ensure project objectives are met.
2. Plan, schedule and coordinate activities related to system development projects; complete project management reports as required.
3. Make written and oral presentations to project teams and groups outside the department.
4. Develop detailed project documentation, including project plans, training plans, and conversion plans.
5. Oversight of a subset of squad resources (technical and functional project team) for the purposes of the project.
6. Ensure clear communication across and between the customer and technical team.
2. Provide business process expertise on development projects
1. Consult with customers (independently or in partnership with the Sr. Consultant, Assoc Practice Manager and/or Practice Manager) to understand and analyze operational procedures, information generation or utilization needs.
2. Work with business area management teams to gather, prioritize, and define technology solutions to their business needs.
3. Work closely with customers to understand business processes and business needs.
4. Collaborate with customers on business process design and engineering solutions.
3. Manage Production Support Issues Under the Direction of the Senior Practice Manager
1. Work with business area representatives to prioritize systems enhancements.
2. Work with customers to evaluate the most effective solutions for production operations.
3. Manage and solve production support issues.
## Basic Qualifications
Job requires Bachelor''s and 5 years of experience or the equivalent.
PMP certification is required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
