AIG Staff Counsel has an opportunity for a Legal Assistant/Office Manager in our new Nashville (Brentwood), TN office.
The office will handle both worker's compensation and casualty litigation in Tennessee
This position will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Staff Counsel Office, including:
Providing legal secretarial and administrative support to the worker's compensation and casualty and attorneys.
Assisting the Supervising Attorney with preparation of monthly reports
Processing office and file related payments
Direct management and supervision of support staff within the office, including recruiting, training and conducting performance appraisals.
Responsible for adherence to AIG''s Operational Guidelines which govern financial and general office procedures Legal support experience in worker's compensation and casualty litigation including knowledge of local court rules and procedures Supervisory experience a plus.
Excellent computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft word/outlook/excel Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
