SUMMARY: Assist the head credit analyst in the extension of credit and maintenance of credit quality within the bank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Write all commercial and consumer credit proposals memos for monthly loan committee meetings
Prepare slideshow presentation for committee meetings
Run and organize committee meetings to flow smoothly and obtain all necessary signatures for committee minutes
Package minutes to present at the monthly board meeting
Order all commercial and residential appraisals and review them for compliance with USPAP and FIRREA regulations
Conduct In-House Evaluations on properties that do not require a Reg. H approved appraisal
Prepare monthly Large Relationship Reports to help bank monitor these relationships to stay within lending limits
Write monthly Criticized Asset Reports on all Watch and Substandard graded loans
Organize loan review files for auditors and answer any questions they may have
Answer any policy guideline questions loan officers may have
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent writing skills
General knowledge and understanding of loan terms and structure
Must be organized and a self-starter
Have the ability to work well and communicate with others internally and externally
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good English communications skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Strong PC skills, professional and organized
GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Be able to deal with the internal and external customers. Be able to work in a team environment and work well with team members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Individual must be able to work extended periods of time on a personal computer; should be mobile to interact with other departments of the bank. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is an office type setting in the main bank or branch bank. It is a professional atmosphere and environmentally controlled. Surveillance cameras are utilized for safety.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
