Coordinate plant activities with Corporate I.T. Resources - Partnership
Develop Strategic Plan for Big Picture, 3-5 Year Plan
Provide Foundation for more Automation
Implementation of MES and on-going support - Key Focus
o Repair Databases
o DC Tool Integration
o Real-time Testing Results (Hydro and Pulse)
o Develop smart phone apps
o Containment of known issues/suspect material
o Barcoding of material
o Line/Equipment Off Reporting
o FPY Reporting
o Component Traceability
o Link processes
Support Network licensing for plant software
Plant network support
Database Development - Overall Data Collection Plan
Support Migration to a new ERP - Primary contact for Corporate I.T
Implement a Line Balance Activity software package to include Work Instructions
Energy Management System Support
Work with Controls group to develop equipment interface plans
Implement paperless systems where applicable
Brief description of the duties responsible for this job:
Implementation and on-going support for MES (Manufacturing Execution System) including:
Data collection; Real-time reporting for FPY, Line-Off/Downtime, Test Stations, etc.; Component traceability; Process linkage throughout the shop floor
Assist in development of Plant-wide Strategic Plan(3-5 Years) for automation/technology improvements
Liaison for Manufacturing/Corporate I.T. for Project Implementation
Database development and ongoing support
Skills and capabilities required of the person entering this position:
Ability to lead/participate project teams, manage multiple projects, analyze data, and implement projects. Knowledge of networking architecture and routing. Knowledge of database structures and database management. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Good communication, presentation and organizational skills.
Education level and/or certification and training requirements, as well as years of experience preferred for person entering this position:
4 year related degree
Specialty in Information Systems Preferred

years of experience in a similar role Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
