UGL Unicco a premier provider of integrated facilities services with revenues of $700 million and servicing fortune 500 companies has an immediate opening for a temporary Data Center - Crytical Systems Technician Support.
This temporary position is for the months of October and November. The majority of the work will be in the evening shift from 7pm to 7am with some occasional day shifts of 8am to 4:30pm.
This hourly position is to assist the Critical Infrastructure Manager and Director of Data Centers overall operational performance readiness, reliability, and integrity of the mission-critical infrastructure systems for Asurion through proactive and timely capacity planning and management, system performance monitoring and diligent change management. The CSTS provides support for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the mission critical infrastructure facilities and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
oCoordinating with the Critical Infrastructure Manager to identify opportunities to enhance reliability and minimize risk.
oAssist in timely reporting of infrastructure capacity, data center utilization and overall operational performance.
oManaging the Onsite vendors providing facility management engineering operations services.
oReview selections of technical infrastructure equipment for completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness.
oAssist in the commissioning process and make recommendations relative to final acceptance of the facility.
o Escort vendors at all times during construction build and commissioning activities.
o Process PCR and Change Management request for all critical infrastructure activities.
o Point of contact for Facilities and vendor escalations.
Requirements
o?Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
o1-2 years experience in a professional services environment and job related experience.
oStrong knowledge of mission critical power systems (power path from generator through rack-based equipment).
oStrong knowledge of mission critical cooling systems; fire suppression systems; knowledge of networking and data communications fundamentals and project management skills.
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent customer service orientation.
oThe ability to remain composed under stressful conditions a must.
oMicrosoft Office.
oWorks on weekends, evenings, and non-traditional hours. The position will be required to carry a cellular phone and/or pager on a 24X7 basis. Position will be required to respond to infrastructure emergencies on a 24X7 basis. Candidate must be available for weekend work and on-call for escalated problems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
