Key
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Escalated Check printing process, including selection, support, printing, and overnight mailing to designated recipient
Daily in-house printing and mailing of checks for specified programs
Address and research daily gift card queues and task list queries, including dealing with cards not received, cancels and reissues, wrong balance inquiries
Address and research daily check queues and task list queries for assigned clients
Handle check stop payments, voids, returns and cancellations
Jewelry line of business returns invoicing
Account reconciliations as assigned
Update and maintain daily disbursements cash log
Produce and review internal and external reports as assigned
Assist to identify, develop and implement improvement opportunities within role
Assist with GL System testing
Participate in the development/maintenance of process documentation of Claims Payable processes
Build effective relationships between Claims Payable and our various internal customers (division, corporate functions and relevant operations)
Assist with further AP activity roll-ins
Other duties as required

Expert AP cycle process knowledge sufficient to coach and train team with analytical and problem solving ability

Ability to reconcile high volume accounts with tight deadlines

Experience in training and development of process documentation

Strong computer skills - Experience with MS Office Software
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required - ability to create pivot tables as well as the ability to create formulas (including V-lookups).
Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX) and Oracle Financial accounting software experience a plus

Multi-functional project environment experience
5 years accounts payable experience (shared service preferred) and some college preferred
Experience with Mulitiple Accounts Payable Systems (Purchasing/AP Integrated)
Strong computer skills - Experience with MS Office Software
Licensing:
This position may require that you hold a valid insurance license. Failure to pass the insurance license exam or an inability to obtain or maintain the required license(s) will result in forfeiture of the position.
