Nashville office seeks corporate transactions staff attorney having 3-5 years of experience in one or more transactional areas. The candidate will work with lawyers throughout the firm on a wide variety of matters across different practice areas and industries. Specific responsibilities will include contract reviews, due diligence, formation of legal entities, preparation of routine Board resolutions and organizational documents, legal research, and other duties as may be assigned. Must be a member of, or be eligible to become a member of, the Tennessee State Bar.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
