Legal Services Coordinator

LbGlobalLaw has an excellent entry-level opportunity within its Operations Group for a Legal Services Coordinator, seeking an alternative career path to that of working within private law practice or corporate law departments. The Operations Group includes Data Services, Compliance Services and Law Firm Services. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
Client and law firm communication (written and verbal)
Data entry and processing
Support roll-out of new software applications to clients and law firms
Website support for external users
Administrative support to all Operations teams
Project-based assignments
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint) and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Superior customer service skills
Practical experience as a law firm billing professional, legal secretary or paralegal desired
Experience as a Help Desk resource for internal and external users, helpful
Associates degree required; Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred;
Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Strong work ethic, initiative and commitment to team success
Flexibility and ability to multi-task
Organized and detail-oriented
Responsiveness and thoroughness
Ability to take ownership of assignments and follow tasks through to completion

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
