## Description
The Memory Disorders Research Lab (PI: Brandon Ally, Ph.D.) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (Departments of Neurology and Psychology) is looking for a full-time research assistant. Our research focuses on several forms of visual memory in healthy populations and patients with Alzheimer's disease. The lab uses behavioral, EEG, eye-tracking, and neuroimaging methods.
In addition to running experiments, the applicant also has the ability to administer neuropsychological tests to study participants and clinical patients in the Memory Disorders Clinic under the supervision of Dr. Ally and his staff. Previous clinical experience is not required.
Key Functions and ExpectedPerformances:
Programming and running experiments using Matlab, Psychtoolbox 3.0, EEG lab, E-Prime, and Experiment Builder
Data collection for behavioral experiments
EEG experiments using a Bio-Semi 128-channel system
Eye-tracking experiments using an EyeLink 1000 system
Data analysis using SPSS, EMSE (EEG data), and Data Viewer (eye-tracking data)
Assisting with manuscript and grant preparation.
Additional Information:
Start date is flexible, and a minimum two-year commitment is required.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who want to gain research experience and are interested in pursuing graduate studies.
## Basic Qualifications
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experiences:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
