Responsibilities:
As an Associate Loan Officer in our sales training program, you will assume full responsibility to guide new home purchasers through the loan process from loan application to loan approval and then settlement while communicating value through in-depth analysis. You will learn all aspects of the mortgage origination process with practical experience in processing, closing,underwriting, customer communication and negotiation while navigating the regulatory process that governs the mortgage industry. You will learn how to pre-qualify prospective home buyers, negotiate competitive financing options and guide customers from initial application to their settlement date in a highly competitive market place. Associate Loan Officers are expected to progress through various roles in their respective mortgage branch, demonstrating mastery of each segment of the home lending process. The typical training period lasts 12-24 months depending on market opportunities and an individual's progress through various assignments.
Additional responsibilities include:
Successfully negotiate and close contracts written in your respective communities
Pre-qualify home buyers on financing options and assist in the new home sales process
Meet face-to-face with all of our new home purchasers, assessing needs and demonstrating value through a structured sales approach
Proactively manage the customer experience over a four to six month period for 50 to 100 customers at any given time
Provide customer service to NVR home building sales reps at every level, including finance, qualifying and product training while communicating updated mortgage status of customers under contract.
Qualifying and assisting prospective borrowers through the loan process, resulting in your customer receiving keys to a newly constructed home of their dreams.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Sales or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Driven and competitive nature
-Experience in mortgage or banking is a plus
