Organization is seeking an Associate General Counsel experienced in healthcare regulatory matters and general operational and compliance issues to provide legal support on compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards, including Medicare conditions of participation, EMTALA, Medicare reimbursement issues and billing compliance, fraud and abuse, complex patient issues (including human subjects research), medical information, HIPAA privacy and security, contract review and development, medical staff credentialing and privileging, policy development and review, and other general healthcare operational issues. Confer with and advise Privacy Office and Health Information team about privacy and health record issues.
