Three - SUPPLIER Quality engineers. One-Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer.
Responsible for the coordination of all paperwork to the customer and manufacturing for an automotive new model launch. TS 16949 expertise is required. Maintain all documentation required by the customer. Will be the initial customer contact for all troubleshooting and corrective action efforts in the reduction of internal process variation and quality improvement. Will train lower level QA engineers and supervise QA techs when required. Complete and sign off on customer specific approval process(PPAP,PSW,etc).Monitor and enforce TSi6949 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures. Verify accuracy of all documents between internal and external customers and suppliers.
Automotive interiors experience is highly preferred.
Must have the ability to judge color visually and must pass the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue test yearly.
The Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer should have 5-7 years of Supplier quality experience with 2-3 years as a supervisor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
