Help Desk

Company Name:
Two to four years of prior related Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Call Center experience.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows XP/Vista/7), Linux, WYSE terminals Microsoft Office applications (Powerpoint, Word, Outlook and Excel).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Visio, Project) and Desktop Publishing applications (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft FrontPage, or Quark).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, including calm, courteous telephone manner.
Excellent team skills and capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
