years of experience designing automotive interior trim panels. Most of this work involves injection molding of the product. Aircraft interior design may also apply. Injection molded part design in Catia V5 and CAD and/or I-DEAS(NX) is preferred. Need experience in the tooling of components and processes. Have an understanding of DFMEA. Need to have strong project management skills in automotive design. Understanding of Component releasing, change control and data management is desired.
A 4 year degree is required, prefer a BSME.
Ownership of design/development from production release to start of production. Track assembly and component part functional, testing, key date timing, key characteristics and weight requirements to SOP.
Tier II supplier liaison with management and production until the part is accepted by the client auto manufacturer.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
