This position contributes to the achievement of T-Mobiles strategic, timeline and financial objectives in the planned overlay deployment of UMTS equipment on specified existing T-Mobile communication sites.
The position reports to Development Project Manager, with direct interface with the T-Mobile UMTS Project Manager. There is cross-functional interface with T-Mobile UMTS RF and Operations staff and with the T-Mobile new site build deployment team. In addition, the position provides strategic input and oversight to the UMTS site modification deployment process, including interface with the designated turn-key vendor and its vendors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee construction aspect of site scoping in support of Final RFDS and Final Statement of Work Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including Architect and Engineer related activities and site layout requirements; Coordinate activities and requirements of all other Company disciplines related to site construction during the construction process including but not limited to, site acquisition, radio frequency engineering, operations, and zoning personnel requirements; Oversee BOM submission process and ensure contractors work product is complete Obtain a construction schedule from Contractors/General Contractors and monitor construction progress according to the schedule. Provide weekly schedule updates to Company with explanations for any deviations from agreed upon schedule; Schedule and coordinate pre-bidding activities with Company designated Contractors/General Contractors and hold a pre-construction meeting with the nominated General Contractor and all other parties as directed by the Company; Conduct site visits following the commencement of site construction (not including pre-construction site walks) to verify contractor compliance with permits, drawings and Company specifications; Monitor Construction for compliance with plans and applicable building codes; Perform work in accordance with Companys standards, policies and procedures and at the direction of the UMTS Development Manager or hisher designee; Provide written weekly status reports in Company database on all projects assigned in a format acceptable to the Company;
Attend Status meetings and report on the status of all assigned projects.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
