SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITY:

The Product Manager is responsible for all planning and execution of the Prison Industry Enhancement Certification Programs (PIE) and service line customers, including: gathering and prioritizing market and customer requirements, defining the external product vision, and design and maintenance of the product roadmap. Works closely with other members of the Service SBU, the Product Manager over Services will ensure company revenue and income requirements are achieved and that customer satisfaction goals are met.

Primary responsibilities are to manage and own the strategic business unit including:

Specifies market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.

Be part of cross-functional development teams i.e. (Purchasing, Engineering, IT and Sales) through market requirements, product contract and positioning.

Develop, propose, and manage and overall SKU budget to ensure success.
Activity participates and provides information needed for the monthly SBU meetings.

Briefs and trains sales force on new product development and how our labor force can be used in new PIE programs.

Develops and oversees the implementation of a companywide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute all manufacturing product line plans.
Analyzes potential partner relationship for current and future PIE and service lines.

Uses TIMS (TRICOR Information Management System) to perform product, customer and operations analysis.
Maintains competitive intelligence & an understanding of the competitive landscape.
Provide in-depth analysis of market, industry and competitors.
Develop both internal and external product education strategies.
Develop and analyze sales figures, and set market prices.

Well versed in services industry trends, and product/services development
5 - 7 years in a product development capacity within a corporate &/or government environment; experience in working with corrections facilities is highly preferred.
Proven and successful experience leading collaborative teams, managing remote locations, staff, and technology.
Documented experience working with at risk employees such as those in Corrections system.
Market Research background with Market Analysis & Analytical capabilities
Able to establisha constructive and informative relationship with employees, management, executives, and stakeholders both internally and externally. Works well with others.
Strong knowledge of call business services practices, and legal compliance.
Broad business sense, as well as demonstrated call center-specific competencies.
Strong strategic development, planning, and analytical ability.
Capacity to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels in the organization.
Ability to benchmark best practices in other states & organizations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
