Program Manager Advertising & Marketing Jobs - Nashville, TN at Geebo

Program Manager

Antidote is looking for the right energetic, talented and motivated individual to join our team as a program manager. Ideally, this person will work out of our Nashville office, but we may consider other arrangements for the right person.
The program manager plays a vital role in planning and executing live and online activities to help physicians and other healthcare professionals provide the best care to their patients. This individual will be involved in meeting planning and content development. On minute you may be talking to a hotel in California about ballroom space and the next reviewing a presentation on diabetes.
Specifically, the Program Manager will:
Manage and communicate with speakers, staff, clients and registrants in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Work with activity directors using professionalism and diplomacy, to plan and execute effective continuing education activities.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external activity directors.
Seek out faculty for activities and coordinate all logistics and facilitate content development and review.
Coordinate program logistics including live activity site selection, meeting planning, material production, and onsite management.
Assist staff, vendors and contractors in the development of online activities.
Maintain appropriate documentation for each activity as per company policy.
Assist staff in the development of grant proposals including submission to online grant portals.
Manage other projects as assigned.
Desired Skills &
Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with a 3-5 years experience working in healthcare or accredited CME/CE. Must have experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Preferred candidates will have familiarity with databases. Must be able to learn Antidote's Grant Event Management System (GEMS).
The ideal candidate is:
Motivated, a self-starter who will take initiative to move projects from concept to completion
Organized. Need we say more?
A great communicator. This individual will be working with partners inside and outside of the company and they will need to make sure everyone stays on the same page. Remember the telephone game where the message gets lost as it travels around the circle? This person will need to make sure the message doesn't get lost. Oh, and do it with a smile. :) The ideal candidate is also not afraid to communicate the old fashioned way - pick up the phone and talk.
Cool under pressure. This isn't a pressure cooker by any means, but there are deadlines. This person will need to be able to work independently, and as part of a team to get things done.
Detail oriented. At any given time this person will be working on multiple projects and each has a LOT of moving pieces. You have to stay sharp and watch the detials. Catch that?
Not afraid of technology. We use several technology tools to manage projects and handle internal communication (not just email); if the computer scares you, this probably isn't the best fit.
Excited to learn new things. We are continually working on projects that require us to stretch or do things a different way. The right person will thrive on this - not just put up with it.
We would expect the Program Manager to work normal office hours. Some travel may be required from during the week and weekends.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
