Relocation Will Be Required:
This position will require relocation to the southern part of the Midwest - Company assisted relocation expenses, plus some company assisted temporary living expense while you are getting settled.

Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Flexographic Technical Supervisor's responsibility is to train, coordinate and supervise the various functions of flexo print production operations. Those activities are to be coordinated safely, to produce high quality products, matching the company's established customer specifications and with maximum production output capabilities.
Position Duties and
Responsibilities:
Complies with safety, quality sanitation, maintenance, production, environmental, and personnel practices to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Develops plans to improve production standards (downtime, efficiency, spoilage, quality, etc.).
Provides direction and continuous training to employees regarding customer and company goals
Provides input and support to department and plant projects.
Prepares and provides feedback on line output, spoilage, quality, etc.
Communicates effectively with all levels of management and subordinates.
Ensures regulatory compliance for all EPA and OSHA issues.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Safety: Instill a sense of self-responsibility for safety among associates. Assure the safety of the associates and safe use of the equipment.
People: Build a high performing team to instill ownership of production objectives through selection, performance assessments, training and development of associates. Assure the development of people at all levels.
Quality: Optimize the production process to assure that quality is built-in, not inspected in. Quality levels must meet customer requirements.
Leadership: Continually improve leadership and management skills.
Production Goals and Objectives: Monitor and achieve production's operating metrics, such as percent uptime, waste reduction, scrap, etc.
Technical Knowledge: Develop and continually improve technical knowledge of processes in order to continually improve and problem solve.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of relentless pursuit of continuous improvement, focused and data based.
Customer Relationship: Promote a customer-centered culture at the plant, including customer visits, ensuring on-time deliveries of a quality product, and supporting the development of new products and technologies.
Essential Skills Required:
Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience operating flexographic equipment, printing on pressure sensitive substrates in a high-quality multi-color print environment.
3 to 5 years' experience in a press-room supervisory role.
An excellent knowledge of flexo print technologies, with the communication skills and ability to train others.
Must possess the proven ability to effectively support and motivate subordinate hourly personnel.
Track record of coordinating and supervising projects to successful completion.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form.
Ability to lead, delegate and meet objectives.
Ability to multi-task.
Basic computer skills with some expertise in WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT and either used or had exposure to other proprietary ERP systems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
