They are currently seeking a Operations Manager to assist their District General Manager in the essential operational responsibilities.

Product order management
After sales service efforts to include product delivery schedules
Oversee preparation of periodic reports as required
Remain current on market trends with competitors, suppliers
Responsible for the quality of service for all trade shows and events
Contribute to the daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning process
Maintain good companywide working relationships
Maintain efficient staffing levels by recruiting, selecting and training employees
Ensure that all operational expenses are controlled and managed
Adhering to company safety operations procedures
Enforce policies, procedures, and productivity standards
Coordinate asset management and maintenance
Purchase moving equipment
Responsible for warehouse and inventory management
Facilitate and coordinate communications with internal departments
Call on potential clients to solicit new business
Answer inquiries on types of service offered, rates, schedules, and areas serviced
Investigate customer complaints and make adjustments
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum five years successful operations management experience with responsibility for multiple departments
Management experience in a trade show general contracting environment preferred
Ability to manage autonomously under minimum direction from the corporate office
Leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong communication skills and a strong sense of customer service
Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Order processing, Database software
Location: Nashville
Salary: $75K
BonusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
