Summary:
Provides all aspects of support and requirements to research, maintain and development new business and selective balance of share opportunities in the Dealer Channel. Actively solicit and prospect Dealer Business resulting in a positive impact on profitable volume growth within the approved Dealer Accounts.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL
Responsibilities:
Prospect and sign on new Dealer business. Develop cooperative business relationships with assigned Dealer accounts' decision makers and influencers to assure that goals and expectations are met.
Develop programs / sign new balance of share opportunities with selected key existing Dealers.
Provide forecasting information to assist the Director in the development of the sales budget and track performance to that budget.
Work closely with Account set up, Marketing and Sales personnel in the development and maintenance of all Dealer accounts that are successfully on boarded.
Participate in the process of new Dealer business review and new project start up.
Actively participate and support in continuous improvement activities as necessary that support growth in the Dealer Channel.
Develop best practices for business development in the Dealer Channel by establishing On Boarding SOP's.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales management, or related field; or 8 years of sales and/or installation experience, or field supervisory experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficient with SalesForce.com.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers.
Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams and customers.
Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.
Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
Ability to travel up to 75%.
Works with a sense of urgency.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Experience and proficiency with CAD programs (20/20 or similar program).
Kitchen cabinetry or building materials background.
Sales experience in the Building Products industry.
