POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for the design, development, evaluation, continuous improvement, and maintenance of training or other performance improvement interventions for internal team member development
Determines and ensures the use of proper design methods, materials, support systems, teaching methods, learning strategies, and assessment techniques
Conducts evaluations of instructional programs
Uses a systematic design process and support tools to select appropriate media and to develop storyboards, job aids, scripts, for instructor-led as well as self-paced training materials
Responsible for producing design plans targeted to client-based needs, developing courses and learning interventions, and integrating a variety of adult instructional techniques
Works as a business expert identifying opportunities to partner with business units and shared service partners to support the organization's goals and objectives through the development of appropriate training interventions
Leads the analysis, design and implementation of performance improvement projects/interventions Interfaces with functional organizations to develop objectives for content of courses
Evaluate effectiveness of potential additions to all curriculums, including conducting in depth job/task analysis, pilot sessions and facilitating alternative delivery methods
Creates a wide variety of written and electronic materials, including training courses, training proposals, business letters and memorandums to ensure quality written communication with clients
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in Instructional Design
Requirements
JOB
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Advanced Degree in Instructional Design preferred)
Minimum of 4-5 years of instructional design experience (or more)
Has both instructor-led and web-based instructional design experience
Advanced project management skills, critical thinking, problem-solving and business acumen skills are essential
Applicant must be able to work well with a team, be self-directed, and demonstrate excellent judgment
Has previously taken a lead role in more than one large scale, complex instructional design project
Proven ability to design and facilitate the development of interactive and engaging learning solutions
Adept at creating assessments, including situational and scenario-based questions, that contributes to the mastery of learning
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization, including senior level executives
Peer leadership and influencing traits are essential Ability to think outside the box to identify effective solutions
Ability to consider the big picture as well as the details
Recent work samples and multiple professional recommendations
Excellent PC skills with Microsoft products are also critical
Proficiency with multi-media tools and authoring programs for web based training (Captivate preferred)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
