Contract Administrator

The Contract Administrator has a primary working area in acting as the liaison between Sales and Legal to manage approvals required for contracting, standard contract generation / escalation and agreements requiring Legal intervention. They ensure that the terms and conditions of each product / service contract are fulfilled. While also, managing the approvals process for pricing / discounts and interpreting contract provisions. Assisting in order intake, helping to streamline, automate and standardize processes involving contract lifecycle management. Under the direction of management, ensures that the terms and conditions of each service contract are fulfilled. Interprets contract provisions and refers non-routine questions or problems to management. May assist in contract negotiations.
Detailed Description
Primary point of contact between Change Healthcare Legal and Change Healthcare Sales
Obtain information as necessary for Legal response on contract issues and other legal matters
Work with Legal to generate and release standard agreements, Change Healthcare BAAs, Change Healthcare NDAs, and Authorization Letters (for use of data around impact analysis)
Define, refine and automate the Sales contracting process over time including the Approval process for non-standard terms & conditions (working with legal, business, operations, et al.)
Coordinate with Legal to make sure Sales is using the latest updated agreements & addendum formats, Legal processes and procedures as necessary.
Train Sales, in coordination with Legal and other stakeholders, on contracting and approvals process.
RequirementsJob Requirements
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail oriented, and good time management skills.
Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines.
Proficient in Email, MS Word and Excel.
Salesforce experience a plus.
3 year experience in contracts, purchasing, or equivalent.
BA/BS degree preferred, Paralegal Certification or equivalent years of experience highly desired
