ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES

Job Summary: The Associate Director of Food and Nutritional Services is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business. This leadership position ensures the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services in an Acute Care Hospital. The Associate Director assists to ensure client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management that both meets and exceeds stated expectations. You will assist in the responsibility of all foodservice-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering etc), quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all hospital-related activities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluates, directs and manages the function and structure of food and nutrition services, ensuring that all client expectations and regulatory standards are being appropriately monitored and adhered to Visits patients on an assigned nursing unit or area and helps ensure that every patient is visited by a member of the management or professional team at least once during their hospital stay Ensures staff assists in achieving stated patient and customer satisfaction goals Participates in facility-wide Performance Improvement Program and on Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contact Performs other tasks that may be assigned Preferred Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus three years of directly related experiencepreferred Minimum of one to three years of hospital or adult home/care experiencepreferred, depending upon formal degree or training Three to five years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet ServSafe Certified Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitianpreferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
