Amazon's Disaster Recovery and Investigations (DRI) team is seeking a Sr.
Program Manager to support Amazon's fulfillment operations in the rapidly evolving and expanding landscape of Disaster Recovery.
In this role, you will support the head of Disaster Recovery in strategic planning, placement and allocation of vendor resources related to disaster response, including core vendor management responsibilities, financial review, and contract analysis.
This position will join a technical team that is responsible for assessing, mitigating, and managing physical recovery and investigations for disasters impacting Amazon's North America Real Estate portfolio.
This is an individual contributor position, with opportunity to optimize DRI influence to our core customers and improve response time through strategic vendor management.

This position provides an opportunity to join a rapidly growing team to develop plans, process, and programs from the ground-up.
The team is strategically located throughout the country, with some office-based team members.
Job responsibilitiesStrategic Vendor Management & Resource Deploymento Identify, maintain, and improve DRI strategic vendor partners, including Remediation, Project Management, Structural Engineering, Cause & Origin Investigators, and Inventory Salvage.
o Partner with Subject Matter Expert (SME) Vendors and internal teams to establish and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
o Identify and establish mechanisms (e.
g.
self-reporting, audits, etc.
) to drive KPI improvement.
o Establish rules of engagement and cost-benefit-analysis model for SME vendors versus self-performing.
o Provide quarterly business review updates to keep partners apprised of Program Improvements.
o Maintain regular review of existing vendors to ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
o Lead pre-deployment strategy of vendors, prior to impending hurricanes, winter storms, and similar.
o Work internally with Maintenance, Procurement and Finance to influence strategic deployment of SME vendors, integrated with local vendors.
o Run After-Action Reviews (AAR) with key vendors post-disaster, including written summaries and action plans.
Contract Review & Financial Analysiso Develop and manage monthly/annual budget process for key recovery vendorso Develop pricing/performance model by vendor type to drive transparency and quick comparison of KPIs.
o Partner with Legal, Risk, Asset Management, and Sustainability in review of lease contracts, power purchase agreements, and insurance policies for indemnity and repair obligations during disasters.
o Provide direct field-support to guide recovery options based on contractual reviews where applicable.
o Potential for domestic and international travel up to 15% of the time.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
